About Us
At Alyssa Pacheco Nutrition LLC (currently d.b.a. The PCOS Nutritionist Alyssa), we specialize in supporting individuals with PCOS/PMOS through evidence-based, behavior-focused, weight-neutral nutrition care.
While PCOS/PMOS is our clinical focus, we also welcome clients seeking 1:1 nutrition counseling for other concerns and expect this to be in high demand with our new in-person office. Other health conditions served could include GI issues, peri-/menopause, weight loss, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, etc.
We're seeking a self-motivated and compassionate Registered Dietitian (RD) to provide medical nutrition therapy (MNT) across this range of client needs. This is a new position with flexible hours and opportunities for growth.
The Role
- Provide personalized 1:1 MNT primarily for clients with PCOS/PMOS, as well as clients seeking support with other conditions such as GI issues, peri-/menopause, weight management, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, and fatty liver.
- Conduct assessments, follow-ups, and create individualized nutrition, lifestyle, and (when relevant) supplement protocols.
- Use motivational interviewing to support lasting behavior change across a range of client goals.
- Document client progress accurately and adjust care plans as needed.
What We're Looking For
- Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential in good standing with CDR.
- Massachusetts state licensure in good standing (additional state licenses, or willingness to obtain them, a plus — license application fees reimbursed).
- 1 years of experience providing 1:1 nutrition counseling, ideally from a weight-neutral perspective.
- Experience working with labs and dietary supplements as related to PCOS is preferred, but not required. We're happy to train the right candidate who brings strong general counseling skills and a genuine interest in learning PCOS-specific care.
- Excellent communication skills to build trust and connection with a diverse client base.
- HIPAA-compliant home workspace with reliable high-speed internet if conducting virtual appointments from home.
Position Details
- Location: Fall River, MA Virtual Hybrid. In-person appointments will be held at our new Fall River office; on days without in-person appointments scheduled, you're welcome to work telehealth appointments from home.
- Hours: Flexible; estimated ~8 hours per week initially, with significant growth potential.
- Rate: $40-50 per hour, based on experience.
