What You’ll Do
- Provide compassionate, resident-focused occupational therapy services under the direction of a licensed OT
- Assist with treatment plans that improve daily living skills, strength, and safety
- Document progress accurately and timely within regulatory and facility requirements
- Collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary team (OT, PT, nursing, activities, social services, etc.)
- Foster motivation, engagement, and encouragement during resident sessions
- Promote a positive, supportive environment for residents and families
- Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license
- Associate's Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Experience in long-term care/skilled nursing preferred but not required
- Strong communication, teamwork, and time-management skills
- Passion for working with older adults and helping them thrive
