About The Role
This is a hands-on, fast-paced social media marketing internship for someone who lives and breathes TikTok. You’ll help grow The Patch Method’s presence on TikTok and TikTok Shop by creating content, sourcing creators, supporting affiliate relationships, and helping turn viral videos into real sales. This role is perfect for a self-starter who understands trends, storytelling, and how TikTok drives conversions.
Role Tasks Include But Are Not Limited To
- Create and post TikTok content for The Patch Method (UGC, trends, storytelling, product demos).
- Manage and optimize TikTok Shop listings and product tagging in videos.
- Reach out to TikTok creators & affiliates to source UGC and build partnerships.
- Coordinate gifting to creators and track content/posts.
- Research trends, sounds, and viral formats to keep content fresh.
- Engage with comments and DMs to build community and drive interest.
- Track basic performance (views, clicks, sales) and report insights.
- Assist with content capture and social support at local Patch Method events (with potential for extra paid hours).
Role Requirements
- Strong understanding of TikTok and what makes content go viral.
- Familiarity with TikTok Shop and social commerce (or eager to learn fast).
- Comfortable filming/editing iPhone-style content (CapCut, native TikTok tools, etc.).
- Interest in wellness, beauty, lifestyle, or creator economy.
- Organized, proactive, and not afraid to DM creators or brands.
- Basic skills with Google Drive, Docs, and Sheets.
- Must be local (or able to travel) for occasional event support.
Role Details
- Internship / Part-time: ~10 hours per week
- Remote with occasional local event support
- Paid internship (hourly or monthly stipend, based on experience)
