Key Responsibilities: What You’ll Tackle

As the Manager, Fixed Asset and Lease Accounting, you’ll play a key role in overseeing the financial integrity of our leased and owned assets across the enterprise. You’ll lead critical accounting functions, ensure compliance with industry standards (like ASC 842), and drive process improvements in partnership with Operations, Treasury, and IT.

This is more than just tracking numbers — it’s about owning your space, influencing change, and driving performance.

Your Role:

• Manage the full lifecycle of fixed assets and lease accounting — from acquisition to disposal.
• Ensure compliance with ASC 842 lease accounting standards.
• Reconcile, track, and report on all company-owned and leased equipment.
• Prepare accurate audit schedules and support internal/external audits.
• Monitor expenditures to ensure they align with approved budgets.
• Partner with departments across the business to strengthen controls and streamline asset-related processes.
• Mentor and develop accounting team members.
• Drive system enhancements and identify process improvement opportunities.
• Provide ad hoc financial analysis to support business decisions

Bring Your Best to the Table:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5 years of hands-on experience in fixed asset and lease accounting (transportation, supply chain, or manufacturing experience a big plus).
• Strong understanding of GAAP, audit processes, and financial systems.
• Analytical mindset, with a knack for spotting issues before they become problems.
• Proven leadership skills — you know how to motivate and manage.
• Love for systems, details, and turning complex data into actionable insights.

Zone 1: Starting rate $125,000; up to $150,000 for highly qualified candidates
