Our client, a leading provider of professional liability insurance, has partnered with us exclusively to identify a Complex Claims Lead to join its expanding claims organization and play a critical role in shaping its evolving approach to complex claim resolution.
About the Role
This is a strategic, high-impact position focused on complex, high-exposure claims. You will:
• Lead and oversee the handling of complex professional liability claims
• Analyze emerging trends—both internally and across the industry—to develop forward- thinking claims strategies
• Collaborate closely with claims analysts and outside counsel to guide assessment, management, and resolution of claims
• Influence and help redefine the organization’s complex claims handling framework
• Act as a key leader, mentor, and strategic partner within the claims team
What We’re Looking For
• 8 years of experience handling or litigating professional liability claims
• Management expertise with building and leading a team
• Strong preference for medical malpractice experience
• Deep experience managing complex claims, excess coverage, SIR, or reinsurance matters
• Proven leadership experience in a claims or litigation environment
• Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
• A collaborative leader with a strategic, business-minded approach
