Our food manufacturing company making a wide variety of ready to eat snack foods including health food bars is looking for a FSQA specialist.
McCook, IL
First shift
Salary range $70,000 - $90,000 depending on experience
Responsibilities
We’re looking for a hands-on FSQA professional with 5 years’ experience in food manufacturing or R&D.
You’ll lead consumer complaint investigations, foreign material incident reviews, product sensory evaluations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure top-quality products for our customers.
You’ll be a key point of contact for customer quality requests — balancing responsiveness with realistic, value-driven recommendations.
This role will help ease the workload of our QA Manager while actively working on the production floor to ensure compliance, resolve issues, and support production needs.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s in Food Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
5 years FSQA or R&D experience in food manufacturing
Strong HACCP, GMP, and regulatory compliance knowledge
Skilled in investigations and corrective action development
Excellent communication skills; able to manage challenging customer requests
Bilingual Spanish a plus
Full time, first shift, at our large McCook, IL manufacturing facility.
