Construction Parts - Customer Service Representative
Large industrial distribution company with locations all over the country is seeking an experienced customer service representative to work in our Addison, IL office. Seeking someone with CSR experience doing quotes and entering orders who is willing to be trained and desires a long term career.
This position works 100% in our Addison, IL office. Not remote or hybrid.
This is NOT a call center position. We will train on our industry. You take inbound calls from customers, enter quotes for industrial supplies for construction, answer questions, research answers, use Microsoft Excel, use our company software, work with other departments in the company, enter orders, and support the outside sales people.
You will be discussing industrial parts so you should have an interest and some experience talking about industrial parts.
Responsibilities include:
Using Excel
Using our proprietary computer system - we will train
Supporting outside sales staff
Taking inbound calls from customers
Processing orders
Entering quotes
Researching customer problems
Communicating with various departments within the company
Working as a team to give great customer service
Learning our industry
Requirements
Excellent computer skills
Strong in Excel
Great personality
Professional, energetic voice
Experience doing customer service for distributor or trade company preferred - plumbing, electrical, construction, etc
Excellent career opportunity
