Ready to lead a beloved community landmark into its next chapter? The Park Theater Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, is seeking an energetic, hands-on Executive Director to guide operations, expand our reach, and advance our mission of bringing affordable, high-quality live performance to Glens Falls.
About the Role
You’ll be the heart and face of the Foundation, working closely with our Board of Directors to lead budgeting, fundraising, programming, community engagement, and strategic planning, and to keep every event running smoothly.
What You’ll Do
Lead with Vision
- Advance the Foundation’s mission and set strategic priorities with the Board.
- Foster a welcoming, creative culture among staff, artists, and volunteers.
Grow Our Support
- Lead fundraising across grants, sponsorships, annual giving, major gifts, and special events.
- Nurture donor relationships and uncover new funding opportunities.
Keep Us Sustainable
- Develop and manage the annual budget, event P&Ls, and financial records.
- Supervise staff and oversee facilities.
Tell Our Story
- Serve as primary spokesperson to the community and media.
- Build partnerships and collaborate with our Marketing Director and Committee to promote shows and events.
Bring Great Shows to the Stage
- Coordinate bookings and theater rentals, including policies, contracts, and fees.
- Oversee technical riders, show advancing, and event-day venue management.
- Build strong relationships with artist managers, booking agencies, and performers.
