What are the responsibilities and job description for the Banquet Server **Weekday/Morning with Occasional Weekends position at The Park Event Center?
A Banquet Server at The Park Event Center will be responsible for flawless execution and day to day operations of corporate meetings, association trainings, company events and family celebrations. Duties will include setting tables and buffet/ food areas for service. During service, a Banquet Server accommodates all guests requests and is responsible for replenishing food, refilling beverages, removing dirty dishes from tables and assist in additional tasks to help facilitate a smooth and efficient service.
Currently we are looking to fill this role with someone who has some early morning, day, and night availability on weekdays. Must also be available on weekends.
- Assist with the complete setup and breakdown of the banquet area.
- Relay food and beverage orders.
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness and awareness of sanitary practices.
- Anticipate guests’ needs and exceed customer service expectations.
- Maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
- Relay important information about orders, allergies, and special requests to the appropriate person.
- Respond urgently and appropriately to any concerns.
- Present in professional appearance and mannerisms.
- Must be able to stand for entire shift and able to lift minimum of 50lbs.
- Shift per week very - could be a 3 hour shift - 12 hr shift , could be 10hrs a week could be 40 hrs a week, must be flexible and dependable
Event gratuity is split between service staff based on the hours worked in a given week and could bring pay to around $25 an hour.
Banquet Serving Experience Preferred.
