Duties
- Efficiently wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to meet health and safety standards
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks and support the kitchen team in maintaining a clean workspace
- Bypass dirty dishes from dining areas and bus tables as needed to promote a seamless flow of service
- Follow proper food safety sanitizing procedures to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with sanitation regulations
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of pots, pans, and bulk supplies safely and correctly
- Operate kitchen equipment like dishwashers, sinks, and cleaning tools in accordance with safety guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas including floors, counters, and storage spaces to uphold sanitation standards
Requirements
- Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is key!
