Dietetic Technician, Registered (DTR)
The Paramount at Somers Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is looking for an ambitious and dedicated Dietetic Technician, (DTR) to join our ever-growing team.
Dietetic Technician, Registered (DTR) Job Summary:
- Must have 1 year of healthcare experience, nursing home experience a plus.
- Must be able to work well with the interdisciplinary team, exhibit strong communication skills, as well as work independently on daily tasks
- Must be able to complete nutrition assessments and provide diet education
- Must be able to attend care plans of assigned residents with clinically complex diagnosis, as well as other meetings and rounds for the facility.
- Ensure resident's plan of care is in place and carried out in its entirety.
- Assist with discharge planning.
- Must be proficient in EMR, knowledge of point click care a plus.
- Knowledge of MealTracker is a plus.
- Must be able to type & use computer programs proficiently (i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Docs, etc).

- Must be flexible to working hours
- Must be at the facility, per schedule (not a remote position)
