Housekeeping Aide Job Description:
- The primary is to perform the day-to day activities of the Housekeeping department in accordance with current Federal, State and local standards, guidelines and regulations.
- Must follow rules and instructions by the Director of Housekeeping Services, to ensure that the facility is maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner.
- Clean/polish furnishings, fixtures, ledges, room heating/cooling unites, in rest rooms, recreational areas, etc., daily as instructed.
- Discard waste/trash in proper containers and reline trash receptacle with plastic liner.
- Ensure that work/cleaning schedules are followed as closely as possible
Housekeeping Aide Qualifications/Requirements:
- High school Diploma
- On job training
Pay Rate: Up to $18.00 an hour
