Responsibilities:
What You’ll Own
You will work directly with attorneys and leadership, managing real cases—not just tasks.
- Draft pleadings, motions, affidavits, and discovery (independently)
- Manage active caseloads (contested uncontested matters)
- Organize and maintain case files with precision
- Communicate confidently with clients, courts, and opposing counsel
- Support trial prep and hearing logistics
- Appear at trial to assist attorneys
- Track billable time accurately and consistently
- Mentor and support junior team members
- Manage court calendar and client appointments
Qualifications:
What You Bring
- 4 years of Family Law Paralegal experience (required)
- Ability to draft and file independently
- Exceptional organization time management
- Strong communication skills (written verbal)
- Proficiency with legal software, Microsoft Office, and case management tools
- Ability to manage a full caseload with minimal oversight
- Strong desire to help those in need
- A paralegal certificate (preferred but not required)
Strong Experience In:
- Divorce (contested uncontested)
- Custody/visitation
- Adoption
Experience Using:
- Clio (preferred but not required)
- Google Workspace (preferred but not required)
