What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mechanical Assembly Technician position at The Panther Group?
The Panther Group is seeking Mechanical Assemblers for a short-term manufacturing opportunity with a growing company in Franklin, MA. This is a great opportunity for individuals with hands-on assembly experience who enjoy working in a fast-paced production environment.
Assemblers will be responsible for building small pneumatic and electrical enclosures while following work instructions, quality standards, and safety procedures.
Available Shifts- 1st Shift – 7:00 AM start
- 2nd Shift – 2:30 PM start
- Assemble pneumatic and electrical enclosures according to work instructions and specifications
- Cut, measure, and install tubing within enclosures
- Install tubing using quick connectors, screw elbow connectors, and related components
- Utilize hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, drills, and pliers
- Perform basic quality inspections on completed assemblies
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Support additional production and assembly needs as assigned
- Prior manufacturing or mechanical assembly experience preferred
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Ability to read and follow work instructions and procedures
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
- Reliable transportation required
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
