Manufacturing Business Systems Analyst
The Manufacturing Business Systems Analyst serves as a key business systems partner to Quality, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and IT. This role owns and supports critical manufacturing applications and data systems, with primary responsibility for the Quality Management System (QMS) and support for ERP, MES, PDM, and PLM platforms.
The ideal candidate has experience working in a manufacturing environment and understands how plant operations, quality processes, production data, and enterprise systems work together. This position combines hands-on application administration and configuration with business analysis, data analytics, systems integration, and continuous improvement.
Job Responsibilities
- Partner with Quality, Manufacturing Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and IT to identify business and system requirements and translate manufacturing needs into practical technology solutions.
- Develop, publish, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and analytics supporting production performance, quality metrics, supplier performance, manufacturing KPIs, and executive reporting.
- Serve as the primary Quality Management System (QMS) administrator and subject matter expert, supporting quality processes across multiple manufacturing sites.
- Configure and maintain QMS workflows, forms, task profiles, user assignments, permissions, document links, and other system functionality to support manufacturing and quality processes.
- Develop and maintain QMS reports and dashboards supporting quality KPIs, supplier quality, corrective and preventive actions, audit readiness, nonconformance management, and multi-site compliance activities.
- Work directly with plant and quality teams to identify system issues, improve workflows, eliminate manual processes, and ensure the QMS effectively supports day-to-day manufacturing operations.
- Collaborate with IT and Manufacturing Operations on ERP and MES enhancements, upgrades, implementations, and data governance.
- Support data flow and integrations between ERP, MES, QMS, PLM/PDM, and third-party manufacturing systems, including troubleshooting data exchanges and working with APIs and other integration methods.
Salary : $70,000 - $80,000
