What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kennel / Daycare Attendant position at The Pampered Pet Hotel and Spa?
Hiring a dog lover who doesn't mind working hard and getting their hands dirty!
****We are looking for someone with a FLEXIBLE schedule who is able to work 15 -25 hours a week (this person should be open to early mornings, later night shifts, and weekend shifts)
We are willing and able to work around class schedules.
Duties include, but not limited to:
- Dog Pack Leader - a confident person with a voice, someone who is not shy
- Comfortable supervising large groups of dogs at play - all breeds, sizes and temperaments
- Responsible for feeding and administering medication to dogs.
- Ability to maintain accurate records, prioritize task and understand written directions
- Properly handle pets, to ensure pets' safety and handlers' safety
- Able to be on your feet entire shift. This is a fast paced work environment!
- Capable of bending, lifting and carrying at least 30lbs
- Person understands the seriousness and responsibilities of animal care and is reliable

*PREVIOUS WORK EXPERIENCE WITH DOGS ID PREFERRED
If you don't have experience, then have a sincere desire to learn. Prior experience is not a requirement.
