Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the nursing department, including staffing, scheduling, and performance management
- Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure best practices and high-quality patient care
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations of patient care, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including licensure, certification, and accreditation standards

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Director of Nursing or equivalent leadership role
- Current RN license in the state of Florida
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in supervising and mentoring nursing staff
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs) and other healthcare technology
