The Palmetto Club in Columba, SC is looking for one Banquet Houseman to join team. The ideal candidate will assist in the setup, maintenance, and breakdown of banquet events, ensuring a clean and organized environment for guest and staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the setup and breakdown of banquet rooms according to event specifications.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet areas throughout events.
• Transport tables, chairs, linens, and other equipment as needed .
• Support banquet severs and other staff during events.
• Compliance with safety and sanitation standers. preform other related duties.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a banquet houseman or similar role preferred.
• Alcohol Server Certification.
• Ability to read an event BEO preferred .
• Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy items over 50 lb.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintain cleanliness.
• Flexible availability including evenings and weekends.
