This collection also serves as an incredible resource for K-12 educators and students nationwide that are served through its respected education classes.
The Paley Museum seeks to fill the part-time position of Teaching Artist for the Re- creating Radio Workshop Weekend Family Program.
SCOPE
The Teaching Artist must be available Saturday mornings in October, November and December from approximately 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM, and will work with the Museum Educator to coordinate Re-creating Radio Workshops. Training will be provided.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assisting Educators in setting up Re-creating Radio Workshop
- Demonstrating radio sound effects to program participants
- Directing participants during rehearsal and taping of a radio play
The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with children and an interest in radio, drama, sound recording, or a related field.
