Job Overview
We are looking for a motivated and knowledgeable Full-Time Smoke Shop Retail Associate to join our team. This position requires a passion for the smoke shop industry, a deep understanding of smoking products, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service. The ideal candidate will be familiar with smoking accessories, glassware, vaporizers, cigars, tobacco, and other related products. Duties

• Provide expert advice on smoking products such as glass pipes, vaporizers, tobacco, rolling papers, e-cigarettes, and accessories.
• Assist customers in selecting products based on their preferences, needs, and budget.
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment, ensuring all products are properly displayed.
• Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions, ensuring accuracy.
• Check IDs to verify customers are of legal age to purchase tobacco and smoking-related products.
• Ensure the safe handling of glassware, vapes, and other fragile items.
• Stock shelves, monitor inventory levels, and assist with product orders.
• Keep up-to-date with new products, trends, and regulations in the smoking industry.
• Educate customers on the latest smoking products, techniques, and industry trends.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding the sale of tobacco, smoking accessories, and related items.
• Promote store specials and loyalty programs.

Requirements

• Prior experience in retail, preferably in a smoke shop or related industry (e.g., tobacco, vape).
• Knowledge of smoking products, including pipes, bongs, vaporizers, tobacco, e-liquids, and cigars.
• Must be at least 18 years old (or meet your local age requirement).
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to handle cash and perform basic transactions.
• Must be comfortable with using point-of-sale (POS) systems.
• Must have a strong attention to detail and ability to handle inventory.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable, responsible, and a team player.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with smoking trends, product brands, and customer preferences.
• Knowledge of state and federal laws regarding tobacco and smoking product sales.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
