The #1 Priority of this position is…
To assist the Director of Food Services in planning, organizing, directing, staffing, leading, controlling, coordinating the dining room, bar, training staff and inventory.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Supervise, train and prepare daily schedule for the waiters and waitresses.
- Manage breakfast, lunch and dinner service.
- Maintain standards for safety, sanitation and storage of food supplies.
- Interact courteously and tactfully with managers, coworkers, customers, vendors, residents and resident family members.
Qualifications
- High school degree or equivalent (GED).
- At least two (2) years of experience in food service.
- Ability to speak, read & write English with good comprehension. Spanish preferred.
- Basic math skills required.
- Considerable knowledge of principles and practices of the restaurant service; health, sanitation and safety requirements.
- Must be familiar with AHCA Regulations, State and Federal Laws.

- Responsible, always on time, resourceful, very accurate and detail-oriented.
- Flexible as to work schedule. Must be available to work on weekends, holidays and in emergency situations.
- Must be able to work under pressure and multi-task.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently AND as a team member.
- Demonstrate excellent verbal communications, interpersonal skills and empathetic listening.
- Exhibit an enthusiastic and friendly personality that has aptitude for working with a variety of people.
