Schedule: 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM, Every Other Weekend Required
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and responsible Smoke Aide to join our team. This position plays an important role in ensuring a clean, safe, and respectful environment for residents during designated smoke breaks.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and assist residents during scheduled smoke breaks.
Roll cigarettes as needed for residents in accordance with facility guidelines.
Ensure the courtyard and smoking area are cleaned and maintained after each smoke break.
Monitor residents for safety during smoke breaks and report any concerns to nursing staff.
Maintain supplies needed for smoking area and notify supervisor when stock is low.
Adhere to all facility policies, safety regulations, and infection control procedures.
Requirements:
Ability to work scheduled shifts (9:00 AM – 8:00 PM) including every other weekend.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
Ability to interact respectfully and patiently with residents.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Must be able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Work Environment:
Indoor and outdoor settings, with exposure to smoke.
Frequent walking, standing, and light lifting.
