Responsibilities

- Manage staff scheduling, training, and development to foster a motivated and efficient team.
- Supervise food handling procedures, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
- Control inventory levels through effective stock management and ordering to minimize waste and optimize costs.
- Utilize POS systems such as Toast POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales tracking.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in accordance with sanitation regulations.
- Lead shift management activities, including overseeing food production during busy hours and resolving operational issues promptly.
- Conduct staff interviews, performance evaluations, and ongoing training to develop team skills in food service management.
- Implement budgeting strategies to manage food costs while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Ensure excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally.
Experience
- Proven experience in managing a fast-paced quick service or fast food restaurant environment.
- Extensive background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management within casual dining or fine dining settings.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience with a focus on team management, training & development, and staff supervision.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS for sales transactions and inventory control.
- Strong knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and health regulations.
- Experience in managing food production for catering events or banquet settings is a plus.
- Previous hotel or hospitality industry experience is advantageous but not required; a background in restaurant management or food industry leadership is essential.
