Applicants Should Possess
- Robust pedagogical content knowledge to build students’ historical thinking skills so that they may engage in inquiry, develop evidence-based arguments, and draw connections between past and present
- Versatility in their ability to teach standard and advanced U.S and global courses
- Experience in supporting the social and emotional well-being of a cohort of grade-level students
- Enthusiasm for collaborative planning of curriculum with other members of a collegial department
- A commitment to anti-bias and anti-racism work and to promoting an inclusive, just, and equitable school community
- Proficiency in using technology in the history classroom
- A minimum of five years of experience teaching Upper School History
- A Master's degree is preferred
