Job Overview
The Pacific-Union Club is seeking a professional and dependable Guest Service Attendant to support daily operations and deliver a high standard of hospitality to members and guests. This role is a key front-facing position responsible for creating a welcoming, seamless experience while maintaining the safety, security, and overall readiness of the Club. At the Club, hospitality means anticipating needs, maintaining discretion, and delivering service with consistency, care, and excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Greet members and guests and provide a professional and welcoming experience.
- Monitor and control access to the Club to ensure a secure environment.
- Support parking operations, including directing and moving vehicles as needed.
- Assist with luggage, personal items, and general service requests.
- Anticipate member needs and support a smooth and attentive experience throughout the Club.
- Provide accurate information regarding Club services and amenities.
- Cleaning and organization of common areas and service spaces.
- Event setup and breakdown.
- Coordinate with other departments to support daily operations.
- Respond to deliveries, vendors, and service providers.
- Maintain awareness of surroundings and report any concerns promptly.
- Respond appropriately in emergency situations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of one year of customer service experience; hospitality experience preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid California Driver’s License.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
- Professional demeanor and commitment to high service standards.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Work Environment:
- Frequent standing and walking.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Work across multiple areas of the Club, both indoors and outdoors.
- Interaction with members, guests, and staff throughout the shift.
Schedule:
This position requires a flexible schedule based on Club operations. Shifts may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. The Club operates 24 hours per day, and availability across shifts is required.
