- Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials, to enhance guest experience and promote upselling opportunities.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Monitor guest needs throughout their dining experience, ensuring satisfaction with their meals and service.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments through the POS system.
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
- Foster positive guest relations by addressing any concerns or special requests promptly.
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tables efficiently.
- Familiarity with food handling practices, sanitation protocols, and safety regulations.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing.
- Experience with Resy for reservations is a plus.
- Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
