Duties
- Greet guests warmly, present menus, and answer questions about food, beverages, and specials with enthusiasm.
- Serve food and beverages efficiently, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks, maintaining high standards of presentation and safety.
- Upsell menu items like premium spirits or specialty cocktails to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
- Manage cash handling and processing payments accurately while balancing cash drawers at shift end.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including bussing tables and resetting for new guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure food safety, proper food handling, and timely delivery of orders in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years or older.
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse situations professionally.
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours while maintaining quality service.
- Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities.
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends in a dynamic restaurant or hospitality setting.
Pay: From $3.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10.0 – 20.0 per week
