What are the responsibilities and job description for the Licensed Practical Nurse position at The Overlook?
PRINCIPLE DUTIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Reviews the status of each resident daily or more frequently if required.
- Identifies and reports change in resident condition
- Knows resident choices regarding care and assures they are honored.
- Leads the CNA team in following comprehensive resident care plans.
- Evaluates if the team has effectively met resident needs.
- Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an LPN in Massachusetts - required
- Current CPR certification - required
- Knowledge of standard nursing practice, state regulations and the Nurse Practice Act
- Solid Track Record of Promoting Team Members from Within
