What are the responsibilities and job description for the Overnight Security Guard position at The Outpost?
The Outpost Outdoor Resort is seeking a friendly, professional Overnight Security Team Member to help ensure our guests have a safe and enjoyable stay.
This role is focused on guest relations first and security second. You'll patrol the property, respond to guest concerns, enforce quiet hours, address excessive noise, and ensure compliance with our no-fireworks policy. You'll also assist with general security issues while maintaining a positive, customer-service-oriented approach.
Responsibilities
- Patrol the resort during overnight hours (9:00 PM – 3:00 AM)
- Enforce quiet hours and resolve excessive noise complaints
- Enforce our no-fireworks policy
- Respond to guest concerns in a friendly, professional manner
- Monitor the property for safety and security issues
- Document incidents and communicate with management as needed
Qualifications
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Calm, confident, and professional under pressure
- Ability to de-escalate situations respectfully
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Security, hospitality, law enforcement, or military experience is a plus, but not required
