Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately using industry-standard POS systems
- Engage with guests to understand their preferences, recommend drinks, and up-sell menu items to enhance their experience.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, adhering to food handling and safety regulations at all times.
- Manage cash handling duties efficiently, including cashiering and processing payments with accuracy.
- Monitor guest behavior to ensure responsible serving practices, especially in bar environment.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff during catering events to coordinate food and beverage service seamlessly.
- Demonstrate excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders quickly during busy hours while providing outstanding customer service.
Experience
- Previous experience working as a bartender in bar, nightclub, or banquet settings is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with industry-standard POS systems is essential for efficient order processing.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and food handling procedures within the food industry is a plus.
- Proven ability in sales techniques to promote drinks and increase revenue through suggestive selling.
- Experience in retail math for cash handling, basic math skills for accurate bill splitting, and managing tabs effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests in hospitality environments.
