The Ottawa Coop is looking for individuals that have a familiarity in Agriculture. Ottawa Coop is a full service organization servicing the local farmers in Eastern Kansas. Products handled include but are not limited to: Fertilizer, Chemicals, Fuel, Grain, and Seed. Full benefit package including two forms of retirement, health insurance and paid time-off.
Currently we are looking for employees for our Lawrence locations which consists of three different facilities as well as our Scranton, KS location.
Looking for individuals who are passionate about assisting farmers feed the world.
General Labor position:
Loading and unloading grain from Trucks and Facilities. Loading and Unloading of Fertilizer and bagged feed
Normal hours: Monday – Friday 8AM -5PM. Extended Hours during Harvest Months (Sep – Dec) and when needed extend to 7 days a week – 12 hours/day or more at times. Must have valid driver license and be able to climb ladders and lift 50lbs or more.
Salary/Compensation: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
