????️ Community rhythm: Monitor the dining room in the evening, arrange seating, and de-escalate issues tactfully.
???? Team leadership: Ensure assignments are completed, communication flows, and the 24-hour report stays accurate and up-to-date.
???? Engagement & education: Facilitate activity/discussion groups and educate residents/caregivers about care, socialization, and policies.
????️ Safety & systems: Monitor security/alert systems (e.g., Home Free), reset when safe, and escalate technology concerns appropriately.
???? Collaborate & communicate: Meet with management regularly and document case notes, service plans, and follow-ups.
???? Education/experience: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred; Assisted Living/Memory Care background a plus.
???????? Leadership: 5 years of recent supervisory experience with strong decision-making, diplomacy, and conflict resolution.
???? Dementia knowledge: Understanding of dementia and strategies that help residents maintain abilities.
???? Communication & tools: Excellent writing/speaking skills; proficient with Microsoft Office (including Publisher).
