Osborn Engineering is seeking a Director of Civil Engineer for our Columbus, Ohio office. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced engineer interested in leading and contributing to an established Site-Civil team, with the potential to expand our team in the Columbus market area. The successful candidate will partner with our strong client base on both public and private sector engineering projects, ensuring high-quality service and technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support and help implement business plans and strategies that build on the company’s strengths within the industry.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with current and future clients, understanding their needs and delivering exceptional service.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the practice’s portfolio and market presence in Ohio.
- Collaborate with other engineers, directors, and company leaders across Ohio and corporate-wide.
- Assist in managing financial metrics of the group, contributing to profitability and sustainable growth.
- Monitor and support project managers to achieve project and financial success for all projects within the group.
- Ensure client satisfaction by working with team members to achieve Osborn’s high-quality design standards.
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
- BS in Civil Engineering.
- Professional Engineering license required.
- 10 years of civil design experience preferred.
- Strong leadership and technical capabilities.
- Broad civil engineering expertise and understanding of Ohio permitting requirements.
- Municipal and other public experience a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent analytical skills and work ethic.
- Ability to manage staff and clients.
