Part Time Social Media Assistant

We're looking for a creative, organized, and energetic Part-Time Social Media Assistant to help support our Social Media Supervisor with the daily management of our salon's online presence. This is an excellent opportunity for a college student or someone looking for a consistent part-time schedule while gaining hands-on experience in marketing and social media.

Compensation:

• $13.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Tuesday – Saturday
• 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Approximately 20 hours per week

• Assist the Social Media Supervisor with daily social media operations.
• Schedule and publish content across all social media platforms.
• Respond promptly and professionally to client direct messages (DMs) in both English and Spanish.
• Monitor comments, messages, and online engagement.
• Capture photos and videos around the salon for social media content.
• Help maintain a consistent brand voice across all platforms.
• Stay up to date on social media trends, Reels, and platform features.
• Assist with promotions, events, and marketing campaigns.
• Collaborate with the salon team to showcase services, products, and salon culture.

• Fluent in both English and Spanish (written and verbal) is required.
• Passion for social media and digital marketing.
• Familiarity with Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and other social media platforms.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented.
• Comfortable taking photos and videos using a smartphone.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous social media experience is a plus, but we're happy to train the right candidate.
