What you’ll do
- Greet guests with a friendly smile and assist them in their seating preferences.
- Manage reservations and walk-in guests efficiently to optimize seating flow.
- Process payments accurately using Point of Sale (POS) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Provide information about menu items, specials, and restaurant policies to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with kitchen and wait staff to ensure timely service and guest needs are met.
- Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, providing information and taking reservations as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area to create an inviting atmosphere.
- Address guest concerns promptly, ensuring a positive resolution that reflects our commitment to hospitality.
Basic qualifications
- Previous host/host experience in a restaurant or hotel setting is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
