What are the responsibilities and job description for the Host and Cashier position at The Original Mel's Diner?
The Original Mels Diner is looking for Hosts at our San Leandro location for Weekend Days and Evenings and possibly some week nights. No experience required but any experience working Quick Service Cashiering and Delivery Orders is a plus! This is an entry level position that can lead to other opportunities with in the restaurant over time. This is a high volume, fast paced restaurant, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner and provides profitable opportunities for strong performers in an environment that is friendly and fun.
The Host/Hostess position is responsible for greeting guests at the door. The host / cashier seats and presents clean menus to guests in a friendly, professional and quick manner. Hosts also take and bag to go orders, and help in the dinning room when needed.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.90 per hour
