We are seeking personable, efficient wait staff to attend to our patrons at our legacy family restaurant, Tuesday through Sunday, available to work 3pm to close. Candidates should be interested in long‑term employment and eager to learn and grow with the company.
Experience is preferred, with a minimum of 2 years of serving experience. Compensation based on minimum wage, plus certifications, and tips earned through excellent customer service.
Requirements:
- Bilingual (Spanish/English).
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Experience working in a Mexican “mom and pop” restaurant.
- Knowledge of Mexican food.
- Food Handler or Manager Certification.
- Proven experience working as a server.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Ability to follow directions, work well in a team, and stand for extended periods.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare tables, greet guests warmly, and seat customers.
- Make menu recommendations.
- Take orders for dine‑in, takeout, phone, and tablet platforms.
- Deliver food and beverages and process payments accurately.
- Maintain service areas clean, organized, and sanitized.
- Package phone, takeout, and tablet orders.
- Assist with mobile orders, sales, pop‑up and private events.
