Duties
- Conduct comprehensive golf lessons tailored to individual skill levels, focusing on swing mechanics, putting, chipping, and course strategy
- Develop customized training plans that motivate students and track their progress over time
- Demonstrate proper golf techniques through live instruction, video analysis, and hands-on guidance
- Foster a positive learning environment by encouraging good sportsmanship, behavior management, and teamwork
- Organize group clinics or junior programs that incorporate fun activities like swimming or martial arts to enhance coordination and focus
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during all lessons and practice sessions
- Collaborate with facility staff to maintain equipment, course conditions, and lesson schedules
Requirements
- Proven experience in sports coaching or teaching physical education, preferably with a background in golf instruction
- Lifeguard experience or familiarity with water safety is a plus for multi-sport environments involving swimming or aquatic activities
- Strong knowledge of martial arts such as Karate or Judo, with the ability to incorporate discipline and focus into coaching methods
- Experience working with children or students in childcare settings or youth programs
- Excellent communication skills to effectively teach diverse learners of all ages
- Ability to manage behavior and foster a respectful, motivating atmosphere during lessons
- Certifications in sports coaching, health club operations, or related fields are advantageous
