What are the responsibilities and job description for the Short Order Cook position at The Oreland Inn?
Overview
We are a local corner bar that offers quick food items, such as hoagies, cheesesteaks, wraps, as well as items from the deep fryer like fries, chicken fingers, wings, etc. We are currently looking for someone for a full day shift on Sunday with the possibility of working additional hours other days of the week. Experience working in a kitchen greatly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of lunch, and dinner items according to established recipes and menu specifications.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including grills, fryers, and other appliances
- Ensure all food handling and sanitation procedures are followed to maintain food safety standards
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and sanitized following food safety sanitizing procedures at all times
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
