Sales Representative - Store Front

Job Title: Sales Representative – Store Front Position Summary - The Sales Representative – Store Front is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing sales transactions, creating and preparing leis, maintaining inventory, and ensuring the store operates efficiently on a daily basis. This role requires a positive attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to manage various store operations, including opening and closing procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Customer Service & Sales

• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Assist customers with product selection and provide product information.
• Process sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Handle cash, credit card, and other payment transactions.
• Resolve customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.

Lei Making & Product Preparation

• Prepare and create fresh leis according to company quality standards.
• Assemble custom orders and special requests as directed.
• Ensure all floral and lei products are fresh, attractive, and ready for sale.
• Monitor product quality and remove any damaged or unsatisfactory items.

Store Operations

• Stock shelves, displays, coolers, and sales areas with merchandise.
• Maintain clean, organized, and attractive product displays.
• Monitor inventory levels and notify management when replenishment is needed.
• Receive, organize, and store incoming inventory and supplies.

Store Management Responsibilities

• Assist in the day-to-day operation of the store.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the store, work areas, and storage spaces.
• Follow company procedures for security, safety, and customer service.
• Complete daily operational checklists and required documentation.

Opening and Closing Procedures

• Open the store according to company procedures, including preparing cash drawers and ensuring the store is ready for business.
• Close the store by completing end-of-day sales reconciliation, securing inventory, cleaning work areas, and locking the premises.
• Ensure all opening and closing tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Previous retail, customer service, floral, or sales experience preferred.
• Ability to learn and perform lei-making techniques.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic math and cash-handling abilities.
• Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
• Frequent bending, reaching, and moving merchandise.
• Ability to work in refrigerated or floral preparation areas as needed.

Work Schedule

• Full-time or part-time positions available.
• Must be available for opening, closing, weekend, and holiday shifts as required.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
