Safely prepares and aides with resident self-administration of medications. Maintains accurate medication documentation and records.Guides the resident in maintaining his/her schedule of daily activities, while maintaining the resident’s sense of independence. Individualizes care and assistance provided to each resident depending on level of functioning.Assists residents with dressing, grooming, eating, bathing, positioning, turning, toileting and exercising. Transfers, transports and escorts residents as needed.Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.QUALIFICATIONS:High school graduate, student or equivalent.Completion of required RCFE training as Medication TechnicianCurrent First Aid & CPR certification.At least one year of experience as a caregiver in a facility or in-home caregivingKnowledge and practice of safe lifting and back care techniquesAbility to speak, read, write, and understand EnglishMinimum one-year experience preferred as Medication Technician#ZR#TheOrchards1
