Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Optician / Optical Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will assist customers in selecting frames and lenses, ensure proper fit, and educate patients on lens options and eye care products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide a welcoming, high-quality service experience
- Assist patients in selecting frames and lenses based on lifestyle and prescription
- Take accurate measurements for proper lens and frame fitting
- Perform adjustments and minor repairs on eyewear
- Educate patients on lens types, coatings, and care
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor
- Meet or exceed individual and team sales goals
Qualifications:
- Prior optical or retail sales experience preferred
- Knowledgable on Lensometry
- ABO certification is a plus but not required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and fashion sense
- Ability to multitask
- Proficiency with point-of-sale systems and basic computer skills
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $22.00 - $45.00 per hour
