What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Support Administrator position at The Open Door of NJ?
The role of the Medical Support Administrator is to coordinate the medical appointments and medications for our consumers, adults with developmental disabilities, living in our residential homes. The Medical Support Administrator plays a key role to support the consumers in meeting their daily living needs and improving their quality of health.
Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring each resident attend their annual medical visits and required follow ups and all actions that come from those visits are completed.
- Completing critical information logs
- Reviewing medication and medication administration records
- Reviewing all pill counts
- Assist in transporting the consumers to their designated locations
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Administraton
Hours: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm
Employment Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Active drivers license with a clean driving record
-Experience taking adults with disabilities to doctor’s appointments
-Ability to pass a drug screening and background check
- Bachelor’s Degree or 5 years of experience working with people with developmental disabilities
Pay: $26.00 per hour
