Role Description
This is a full-time Controller (Construction) role based in Livermore, CA. The Controller will oversee all financial activities, including budgeting, financial reporting, and forecasting for construction programs. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing accounting operations, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and optimizing financial systems to support decision-making. The role will also involve collaborating with internal teams to ensure accurate project cost tracking and supporting leadership with financial insights to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
- Strong knowledge of construction accounting operations and project cost tracking
- Experience with compliance management, financial regulations, and reporting standards
- Familiarity with ERP systems and accounting software
- Track record of effective leadership, teamwork, and communication skills
- CPA certification or equivalent financial qualification is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- Construction industry knowledge strongly preferred
