About Us:
We as The One Discovery RTC are dedicated to providing exceptional care to adolescents aged 7-17 years old in our Residential Treatment Facility. We are currently seeking a compassionate Caregiver to join our team. This role involves assisting young individuals in a nurturing and supportive environment, helping them overcome challenges and develop essential life skills.
Responsibilities:
As a Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in guiding and supporting adolescents in our Residential Treatment Facility. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Supervision and Support: Provide supervision and emotional support to adolescent clients within the facility.
2. Behavioral Assistance: Assist in managing challenging behaviors and promoting positive interactions among clients.
3. Therapeutic Activities: Participate in and facilitate therapeutic activities designed to enhance emotional and social development.
4. Daily Routine: Help adolescents maintain a structured daily routine, including meal times, schoolwork, and recreational activities.
5. Crisis Intervention: Be prepared to respond to crisis situations and follow established protocols for resolution.
6. Collaboration: Work closely with the treatment team to implement individualized care plans for each client.
7. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of client progress and incidents, adhering to confidentiality guidelines.
Requirements:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes:
- Youth Care Experience: Previous experience working with adolescents in a residential or similar setting is essential.
- Crisis Management Skills: Proficiency in crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques.
- Empathy: A compassionate and empathetic approach when working with adolescents facing challenges.
- Structured Approach: Ability to maintain a structured and organized environment for clients.
