The Gig
As the Awards Show Producer, you are the conductor of the orchestra. You’ll oversee everything from the initial "What if?" brainstorming sessions to the final "Cheers!" at the after-party. You’ll work closely with our dedicated Denver board and the HQ team in New York to ensure the 2026 show is the best one yet.
This is a volunteer position—perfect for a seasoned pro looking to give back, or a rising star (perhaps new to Colorado!) looking to build a powerhouse network and a killer resume.
What You’ll Do
- Dream & Design: Brainstorm the annual theme and collaborate with a designer to bring the visual identity to life.
- The Blueprint: Scout the perfect venue, set the date/time, and manage the event budget.
- The Hype: Work with our team on social media, email marketing, and PR to ensure the whole region knows the "Call for Entries" is live.
- Relationship Building: Connect with top ad agencies and PR firms to encourage entries and champion their work.
- The Showreel: Oversee the backend of the awards website, manage the entry process (fixing hiccups with a smile), and coordinate the actual show presentation.
- Event Magic: Book the Emcee and DJ, coordinate with trophy fabricators, and lead the "boots on the ground" volunteer crew for day-of setup and decoration.
The Commitment
- Role Type: Volunteer / Part-Time.
- Time: Flexible, averaging 3–15 hours per week.
- The Flow: It starts slow (planning and strategy) and ramps up as we get closer to the big night.
