Responsibilities
- Greet guests as they arrive and provide a warm welcome.
- Manage the seating chart to optimize table turnover while ensuring guest comfort.
- Handle reservations and walk-in guests efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen and wait staff to coordinate guest needs.
- Answer phone calls with professionalism, providing information about menu offerings and wait times.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns with a positive attitude, ensuring satisfaction.
- Support the team during busy periods by helping with food service or other tasks as needed.
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest relations.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on phone etiquette.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure.
