Responsibilities
- Assist lead teachers in implementing daily routines such as feeding, diapering, nap time, and sensory activities tailored to infants’ developmental stages
- Support individualized care plans by engaging with infants through play, communication, and age-appropriate activities
- Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment by adhering to health and safety standards, including proper sanitation and equipment maintenance
- Observe and document infants’ progress, behaviors, and milestones to inform teaching strategies and communicate with parents or guardians
- Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and fostering social-emotional development among infants
- Follow all licensing regulations and organizational policies to ensure compliance with safety standards at all times
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- Prior experience working with infants in daycare, nannying, or babysitting is preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining flexibility in daily routines
- Excellent communication skills for interacting effectively with children, parents, colleagues, and supervisors
- Passion for working with children, nurturing their growth, and creating a positive learning atmosphere
