Key Responsibilities
- Unload palleted deliveries and efficiently stock the produce, bakery, dairy/cooler, and freezer sections.
- Rotate all products using the First-In, First-Out (FIFO) method to guarantee maximum freshness.
- Regularly inspect inventory to identify and immediately remove expired or damaged merchandise.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe walk-in coolers, freezers, and sales floors.
- Monitor temperature logs in cold storage areas to ensure strict food safety compliance.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Ability to repeatedly lift, push, and pull boxes ( up to 40 lbs) throughout your shift.
- Comfortable working physically in very cold environments (coolers and freezers) for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail, specifically regarding expiration dates and visual product quality.
- Friendly, approachable attitude with a readiness to assist customers on the floor.
