Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced cook to join our culinary team. Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes with attention to quality and presentation
- Assist in menu planning and development to meet dietary needs and customer preferences
- Handle food safely and maintain proper hygiene standards throughout food preparation and service
- Serve meals efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service
- Manage food handling, storage, and inventory control to minimize waste and ensure freshness
- Support catering events and special functions as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and work areas in compliance with health regulations
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely meal delivery
Experience
- Previous experience in dietary departments, food service, or culinary roles is highly preferred
- Experience in fine dining, restaurant settings, or catering environments is a plus
- Skills in food preparation, cooking, knife handling, and meal assembly are essential
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling techniques is required
- Familiarity with menu planning, food industry standards, and kitchen operations will be advantageous
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure are important for success in this role
